Most people who contact the studio about this either have a surgery date in the diary, or have had a procedure and their surgeon has told them to arrange post-surgical lymphatic drainage massage. That is what this service is for. Elaine Aguiar runs it one-to-one in Stockwell, SW9, and every course of sessions is built around the plan your surgeon has given you — not a number the studio decides.

Who this is for
Two groups book this. One is people getting ready for cosmetic surgery who want their post-operative drainage arranged before the date. The other, larger group is clients whose surgeon has told them to have post-surgical lymphatic drainage massage after a procedure — a tummy tuck, liposuction, a BBL, a mommy makeover, a C-section, or something else the surgeon has named.
Whatever the procedure, the session is manual, it is gentle, and it follows your surgeon's guidance. The studio does not take post-operative bookings without written clearance from your surgeon.
Your surgeon sets the plan, the studio delivers it
Your surgeon decides whether you are ready to start, how many sessions you should have, and how often. The studio does not set that schedule and does not change it. What Elaine does is carry out the course your surgeon has prescribed, session by session, following the technique their guidance calls for at each stage.
That is why a consultation is required before your first treatment. In it, you go through your surgeon's written guidance together, Elaine explains what each session involves, and the course is fitted around the two days the studio is open. If your surgeon's instructions change, bring the update and the plan changes with it.
What a session involves
Every visit opens with a short health questionnaire, so Elaine has a current picture before any hands-on work begins. The treatment itself is manual lymphatic drainage — slow, light, rhythmic strokes by hand that follow the lymphatic pathways rather than pressing into muscle. There is no machine. You are on the treatment table in a private room with Elaine and no one else, and the pace stays slow from start to finish.
Elaine holds an ABT-accredited certificate in Body Manual Lymphatic Drainage Pre and Post Surgery (Associated Beauty Therapists), completed in London in 2026. It is a pre- and post-surgical qualification, which is why the consultation and your surgeon's guidance carry the weight they do here: the work is matched to your situation and to what your surgical team has asked for.
Why the course matters, not the single session
The studio books this as a course for one reason: with post-surgical drainage, what the work depends on is keeping to the plan your surgeon has set — the spacing, the number of sessions, seeing it through — rather than any single appointment. If you are weighing up whether to commit, that is the thing to weigh. The studio makes no promise about a result or a timeframe, and neither does this page.
If your surgery is still ahead of you
The useful step now is to book the consultation early. Post-operative slots on the studio's two open days are limited, and arranging the course before your surgery date means you are not organising it while you recover. Pre-surgery drainage sessions are available too, through the same consultation, where you can ask questions and see the room. Booking the consultation commits you to nothing about an outcome — it is planning, and that is all.
Prices
A single pre or post-operative lymphatic drainage session is £80 for 60 minutes, and a consultation is required before the first treatment.
Because this work is done as a course, most clients use one of the studio's new-client introductory packages — five sessions for £275, or ten for £500 — which can be put towards this treatment. These are introductory prices for new clients rather than a standing rate; check they still apply when you book. The consultation confirms which option matches your surgeon's plan.
Questions people ask
Do I need my surgeon's clearance first? Yes — written clearance, and you will be asked for it before a post-operative session is booked.
What should I bring to the consultation? Your surgeon's written clearance and any guidance they have given on timing and frequency, so the course can be set correctly against it.
Booking
To arrange your course, message the studio on WhatsApp or by email and ask for a consultation — that comes first, before any treatment is booked. Once your course ends, continuing wellness sessions are available if you want to keep a regular routine. You can also see the full treatment menu, read more about Elaine, book online, or send a question first.
